Ingredients

Active Ingredients: Each Caplet: Bismuth Subsalicylate 262 mg (Total Salicylate 99 mg Per Caplet). InActive Ingredients: Calcium Carbonate; Magnesium Stearate; Mannitol; Microcrystalline Cellulose; Polysorbate 80; Red 27; Colloidal Silicon Dioxide; Sodium Starch Glycolate; Each Caplet Contains: Calcium 27 mg; Salicylate 99 mg; Sodium 2 mg

Dosage

Swallow caplet(s) with water; do not chew. Take every 1/2 to 1 hour as needed. Do not take more than 8 doses in a 24-hour period. Adults and children over 12 years: 2 caplets. Children 9 to 12 years 1 caplet. Children 6 to 9 years: 2/3 caplet. Children 3 to 6 years: 1/3 caplet. Children under 3 years: Ask a doctor.

Warning

Allergy alert: Do not use if you are allergic to salicylates (including aspirin). Reyes syndrome: Children and teenagers who have or are recovering from chicken pox or flu-like symptoms should not use this product. When using this product, if changes in behavior with nausea and vomiting occur, consult a doctor because these symptoms could be an early sign of Reye syndrome, a rare but serious illness. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are taking medicines for: anticoagulation (thinning of the blood), diabetes, gout. Stop use and ask a doctor if: symptoms persist more than 2 days; product is taken with aspirin and ringing in the ears occurs; diarrhea is accompanied by a high fever. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.
