Inositol hexaphosphate bound to protein in bran or fiber is absorbed more slowly than pure IP-6. Some research has demonstrated that bound IP-6 may interact and potentially bind with minerals in the stomach.10 Because of this potential interaction, it is recommended to take Cellular Forté® with IP-6 and Inositol on an empty stomach (1/2 hour before or 2 hours after meals).
