Product Benefits

Lobelia is used to treat coughs and spasms in the lungs from varying causes. The alkaloid lobeline is responsible for most of lobelia’s actions. Lobeline improves lung function, by its abilities to reduce bronchial constriction and to thin mucus so that it can be coughed out. Skunk Cabbage is a traditional folk remedy for tight coughs, bronchitis and catarrh. Skunk cabbage may be used whenever there is a tense or spasmodic condition in the lungs. Skunk Cabbage will act to relax and ease irritable coughs. It may be used in asthma, bronchitis and whooping cough.
