DAILY BEST SENIOR is a comprehensive multivitamin/mineral formula for older dogs. The base for this superior senior multi is our Daily Best For Dogs to which we have added optimal levels of nutrients necessary for the health of senior dogs and are not always found in commercial dog food or ordinary supplements. For instance, we’ve added 200 mgs of the amino acid L-Taurine, which is vital for maintaining the health of the heart, blood cells, muscles and the central nervous system. We have added 30 times more Betaine than conventional supplements to support cardiovascular, immune, neurological and liver detoxification systems. We also have increased (by more than 12 fold) the amount of Choline, which supports proper nervous system function and normal liver function as well as fat metabolism. Increased levels of Vitamins A, C and E support antioxidant protection, immune system and cardiovascular function as well as eye, nerve, blood vessel and skin health. Increasing the levels of these water and fat-soluble vitamins is important because they provide antioxidant protection to the essential fatty acids we have added to the formula, as well as helping protect the integrity of the fats in the dog’s body. Important amino acids were added to support proper connective tissue, skin, gastrointestinal and muscle health. We’ve also doubled the amount of protease enzyme in our senior formula to support digestion, bioavailability and utilization of the high quality amino acids that were added. Dosage

Under 20 lbs: Give 1 tablet daily. 20-70 lbs: Give 2 tablets daily. Over 70 lbs: Give 3 tablets daily. When giving more than one tablet, divide between AM and PM.
