Futurebiotics Omega-3 Fish Oil supplies the Omega-3 fatty acids Eicosapentaenoic Acid (EPA) and Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and is derived from a variety of cold water, deep sea fish, which includes anchovies, sardines, mackerel and salmon. Omega-3 fatty acids are considered one of the "good" fats that research has shown is important for nutritionally supporting heart health. While science continues to demonstrate the benefits of adding Omega-3 fatty acids to the diet, concern over the toxins in the earth's oceans and fish contamination makes many consumers hesitant to add omega-3 fish oil supplements to their diet. Futurebiotics addresses this very real concern by providing omega-3 fish oil that utilizes molecular distillation to remove impurities from the oil. Molecular distillation is a specialized refining process that removes environmental contaminants such as PCBs dioxins and heavy metals, including mercury, from the fish oil and makes it pure and safe for human consumption.
