We are careful to select only the buds in consideration of this activity. This product meets or exceeds our minimum potency standard of 0.3% total naphthodianthrones as hypericin.

The first recorded use of St. John's Wort (Hypericum) for medicinal purposes dates back to ancient Greece. The word Hypericum is derived from the words hyper and eikon, which translate to "over" and "icon" respectively, a reference to protection from evil demonic spirits.
