Other ingredients: Maltodextrin, gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water), enteric coating (cellulose), magnesium stearate (vegetable grade), ascorbic acid.

Dosage

3 capsules daily, 15 minutes before or 1 hour after meals or as directed by a health care practitioner. Children (10 years and older): 1 capsule daily, 15 minutes before or 1 hour after meals or as directed by a health care practitioner. If taking antibiotics, wait 2 hours before ingesting probiotics. For those unable to take capsules, the contents of the capsules may be mixed with cold food or liquid. Keep out of the reach of children.

Contraindications * Studies in humans indicate that lactobacillus preparations do not appear to interfere with the effectiveness of antibiotics, but may prevent antibiotic-induced diarrhea. * If taking antibiotics, take two hours before or two hours after ingesting probiotics. * Exceedingly safe. However, be aware that there may be a period of digestive adjustment while the body adjusts to any new probiotic strain. * As well, the superior 'attacking' power of L. rhamnosus against negative bacteria and yeast may temporarily release more toxins, resulting in flu-like symptoms. * If this happens, just cut back on the dosage until the toxins are removed from the body. Gradually return to your usual dosage.
