Wild Yam Extract is prepared from the rhizome of Dioscorea villosa vines. Dry herb/ menstruum ratio: 1:5,Certified organic grain alcohol(55-60%), distilled water & Wild Yam extractives.

Dosage

Antispasmodic, especially to genito-urinary and gastro-intestinal systems. Diaphoretic (taken in hot water). Wild Yam Extract by Herb Pharm has been used by herbalists as an expectorant for people with coughs. Wild helps relieve gastrointestinal upset, nerve pain, and morning sickness. Eventually, it was discovered that the saponins from wild yam could be converted industrially into cortisone, estrogens, and progesterone-like compounds.
