Saw Palmetto by Dr. Christophers Formulas Men have historically taken this herb as a natural treatment for urinary symptoms associated with prostate enlargement. When men begin to experience symptoms such as difficult urination or more frequent urge to urinate, many doctors use a more technical term to describe the condition: benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Many studies have shown Saw Palmetto to be extremely useful in the treatment of prostate disorders. The part used are the berries, which have been shown to reduce prostatic enlargement by inhibiting the enzyme testosterone-5-alpha reductase. This popular herbal single contains Saw Palmetto and is encapsulated in a pure 100% vegetable based capsule
