In 1987 Dr. Leonard Feldman, a chiropractor and successful entrepreneur, seized an opportunity to infuse the sleepy foot care devices category with innovation and variety. Long dominated by a single brand, foot care product offerings had become boring and stagnant. For years Dr. Feldman had created excitement in the direct mail industry with his unique devices. Strongly believing it was possible to bring the same kind of success to retail stores, he created the brand and the products that would give consumers more choice and value than was previously available.
