The air breathed should go through the filter and not through gaps between the respirator and the wearer's face. This particulate respirator does not filter chemical vapors, gases, oil aerosols or ozone. Although this respirator can help reduce the number of particles you breathe, it will not eliminate the risk of disease or illness.
